End User License Agreement

The terms for installing and using GxP Seal. In short: you get a licence to use the app within your Atlassian instance; you remain responsible for your own compliance and validation; and liability is capped.

1Scope & acceptance

This Agreement is between the Provider and the entity or individual (“Customer”) installing or using the app. By installing, accessing or using the app, the Customer agrees to be bound by it.

2Regulatory & compliance disclaimer

• Customer responsibility. The app is architected to support electronic-record and -signature frameworks (21 CFR Part 11, EU eIDAS technical guidance, EU GDPR). The Customer remains solely responsible for its overall regulatory compliance, computer-system validation in its own environment, and standard operating procedures.
• Atlassian environment. The app operates within Atlassian's cloud (Forge). The Provider is not responsible for outages, data loss or security issues originating from Atlassian or other third-party infrastructure.

3License grant & restrictions

• The Provider grants the Customer a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app within the Customer's authorised Atlassian Cloud instance, up to the user tier purchased via the Atlassian Marketplace.
• The Customer shall not reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app's signing, hash-chain and tamper-evidence mechanisms.

4Data integrity & audit trails

• The app generates append-only, tamper-evident audit trails — a SHA-256 hash chain — recording signature events, server timestamps, signer identities and document content hashes.
• Once a signature is recorded, any alteration to the record is detectable by recomputing the chain. The mechanism is tamper-evident, not tamper-proof.

5Warranties & disclaimer

• The app is provided with technical controls designed to assist validation and compliant signing, but the Provider disclaims any guarantee of approval or certification by any regulatory agency (e.g. FDA, EMA) of the Customer's end-to-end processes.
• Except as expressly stated, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is”.

6Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Provider's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be limited to the total fees paid by the Customer for the app in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. The Provider is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

7Term & termination

This Agreement runs while the app is installed. It terminates on uninstall or on breach; on termination the licence ends and the app's storage is removed per the Atlassian Forge data lifecycle (see the DPA and Privacy Policy).

8Intellectual property

The app, and all signing, hash-chain and tamper-evidence mechanisms within it, are the Provider's intellectual property. This Agreement grants a licence to use, not any ownership.

9Governing law

Delaware, USA, unless otherwise agreed in a signed order.
